Tips snorkeling on the tour

  • Find a mask that fits well.
  • Use a mask defogger.
  • Get excess water out of your mask.
  • Use Fins in the water
  • Use full-foot fins to preserve energy.
  • Take deep breaths to relax.
  • Be aware of jellyfish: they’re not common and can appear seasonally.
  • Bite down on the mouthpiece to keep the snorkel from moving.
  • Respect the reef: don’t stand on coral, and don’t chase turtles.
  • Check currents; they can be sneaky between islands.
