Detail Itinerary: Rinjani Trek Sembalun Torean
Day 01: Hotel – Sembalun Village – Crater Rim Sembalun ( 2,639 m )
Walk distance for 9km – Walk duration 6 to 7 hours – The type of trek is moderate
- At 5:00 AM, transfer to Sembalun village.
- Registration at the Rinjani Information Center (RIC).
- Start the trek to POS 1 (Pos Pemantauan 1,300 m), with a walking time of 1 hour 15 minutes. Rest about 10 minutes at POS 1.
- Walk to POS 2 (Pos Tengengean 1,500 m), lunch , and take a lunch break for 1 hour 30 minutes.
- Walk to POS 3 (Pada Balong 1,800 m), 45 minutes and a 10-minute rest
- After resting at POS 3, proceed to POS 4 (Cemara Siu 2,090 m) for 1 hour. Arrival at POS 4, take a 15-minute rest. From POS 4, continue to Crater Rim (Plawangan Sembalun 2,639 m).
- Have dinner and spend the night at Crater Rim Sembalun. Enjoy the sunset and sunrise the next day.
Day 02: Summit Rinjani – Lake Segara Anak – Overnight (2.000 M)
Walk distance for 4.5 km – Walk duration 5 to 6 hours – The type of trek is very difficult
- Wake up at 2:00 AM for a light breakfast. Head to the Rinjani Summit (3,726 m), with a walking time of approximately 3 hours 30 minutes.
- From the summit, you can see the entire Lombok Island, Bali, Sumbawa, and Segara Anak Lake.
- Return to the camp for a second breakfast.
Walk distance Crater Rim to Segara Anak 3.4 km – 3 to 4 hours – The type of trek is moderate
- Descend to Segara Anak Lake and hot springs for 3 hours.
- Lunch will be provided at Segara Anak Lake, and the hot springs are just a 100m walk from the lake.
- Camp at Segara Anak Lake, enjoy the lake and its surroundings.
- Dinner and sleep at Segara Anak.
Day 03. Segara Anak – Torean Village
Walk distance for 8,2 km – Walk duration 7 to 8 hours – The type of trek is moderate
- Wake up early, have breakfast, and get ready to continue the journey to Torean Village.
- On the way, you will see stunning views of mountain valleys, waterfalls, and the rainforest.
- The road is relatively light with flat roads, & quite far.
- The path from Barisan Nangka location to the Torean Village is relatively safe, forests and community plantations.
- Arriving at the Torean gate, the driver is already waiting for you, & the next destination.
