- Current Status: Trails are close January 1 to late March each year.

- 3 Days /2 Nights Sembalun to Torean: A highly recommended “complete” experience. You summit from Sembalun, visit the Segara Anak Lake and hot springs, descend to Torean valley known for its waterfalls.
- 2 Days/1 Night Express: Only for advanced hikers in peak physical condition. It skips the lake and descends the same way after the summit
Essential Regulations Hiking Mount Rinjani Summit
- Mandatory Guides: All foreign trekkers must hire a licensed guide and porters. Independent hiking is strictly not allow
- Guide Ratio: New 2026 rules require one guide for every four hikers.

Trek Route Summary Summit 3-day
- Start: Sembalun (1,150 m)

Itinerary: Mount Rinjani Trek summit 3 days
Day 01. Hotel—Sembalun—Crater-rim: 7 hours walk and a distance of 10 km
- Pick up at 5.00 AM and transfer to Sembalun. arrive at sembalun at 08.00 am
- 08.00 Registration at Rinjani Information Center (RIC) 1051m
- 08.30 Start trek to POS 1 (Pos Pemantauan 1.300 M) 2 hours walk, rest 10 minutes at POS 1
- Walk to POS 2 for 1 hour (Pos Tengengean 1,500 m), and take a 10-minute rest.
- Continue to POS 3 (Pada Balong 1.800 m), a 1-hour walk. Lunch will be at POS 3, and take a rest for 2 hours.
- Walk 3 hours to Crater Rim (Plawangan Sembalun 2,639 m), dinner, and overnight at Crater Rim Sembalun.
Day 02. Crater rim Sembalun—summit-lake-crater rim Senaru: walk 10 hours and a distance of 11 km
- Wake up at 02.30 am, have breakfast at 03.00 am, and climb up to the top of Mount Rinjani.
- Heading Summit Rinjani (3,726 m), walking time approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes
- From the summit, you can see all of Lombok Island, Bali, Sumbawa, and Segara Anak Lake
- Back to camp to get breakfast
- Walk down to Segara Anak Lake and Hot Spring water for 3 hours
- Lunch will be provided by Lake Segara Anak, with hot spring water just a 100 m walk from the lake.
- After enjoying the hot spring water, prepare to climb up to the crater rim of Senaru, a 3-hour walk.
- The camp is at the Crater Rim of Senaru, and the sunset is over the mountain Agung in Bali.
- Enjoy Dinner and take a rest
Day 03. Crater Rim Senaru-Senaru Village: 6-hour walk down and a distance of 9.5 km
- 07.00 After breakfast and enjoying the sunrise, prepare to walk down to Senaru village
- Lunch is on the way between POS 2 and POS EXTRA.
- Arrive at Senaru Rinjani Trekking Center around 13.00 PM.
- Prepare yourself for transfer to Senggigi, Mataram, or Bangsal Harbor.

Day 01: Breakfast (Breakfast Box), Lunch, and dinner at the Mountain (walk 7 Hours and a distance of 10 km)
- Pick up early at 05:00 AM at the hotel lobby.
- Drive to Sembalun village for approximately 3 hours.
- Breakfast by breakfast Box on the way to Sembalun Village
- 08.00 am: Arrive in Sembalun and register at the Rinjani Information Centre (RIC) in Sembalun Lawang.
- 08.30 am: start walk to POS 1 from bawak Nao (1,300 m), a 2-hour walk
- Walk to POS 2 for 1 hour (Pos Tengengean 1,500 m), and take a 10-minute rest.
- Continue to POS 3 (Pada Balong 1.800 m), a 1-hour walk. Lunch at POS 3 and take a rest for 2 hours.
- Walking up for 3 hours to Crater Rim (Plawangan Sembalun 2,639 m)
- 17.30 PM: Arrive at Crater Rim Sembalun, enjoy seeing the sunset, and viewing Lombok Island
- 19.00 Dinner at Crater Rim Sembalun
- Overnight at Sembalun Crater Rim Sembalun (2,639 m). at the Tent
Day 02: Breakfast and Lunch included at the Mountain (Walk 12 Hours and a distance of 15 km)
- Wake up at 02:00 AM, trek to the summit, and experience a cold temperature of 3–10 degrees.
- 2.5 hours of trekking to the summit of Rinjani, 3,726 meters
- 05:30 am: Enjoy the amazing sunrise view from the summit (Mount Agung, Bali, and Sumbawa Island).
- 06.00 am: Return to the camp crater rim in Sembalun, and enjoy a view of Segara Anak Lake.
- 08.00: Get breakfast at Crater Rim Sembalun
- 08.30 Leave the Crater Rim Sembalun by the same route to Sembalun village (Lunch on the way)
- Will arrive in Sembalun village around 16.00 PM
- 16.00 pm transfer back to the hotel. End program.
